The Autumn Sparkle Cocktail

After the rainstorm we had late last week,
all of the sudden the air felt crisper,
and I saw in my front yard
the falling of the most colorful leaves.

So I felt like celebrating that it is FINALLY feeling more like Fall!

Honestly, I feel like Fall is the FUN season!
We have all things Harvest and Pumpkin festivals,
including Oktoberfest, and Halloween.

Then my favorite time of the season,
 is to celebrate with
 family and friends for Thanksgiving!

Not to mention Fall is a very cool month for Weddings.
Why not try this Autumn Sparkle cocktail for
your next celebration!

Autumn Sparkle Cocktail

Ingredients:

For the cider honey syrup:
1/2 cup honey
3/4 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 cup of orange juice

For a large pitcher (serves 18)
2 1/4 cups Jack Daniels
1 1/2 cups of the cider honey syrup (whole batch)
2 1/4 cups sparkling white wine or champagne, I used Flip Flop Sparkling chardonnay

For a single cocktail:
1 oz Jack Daniels
4 tsp. cider honey syrup
1 oz champagne or sparkling white wine ( or more to top off the glass)

Directions:
1. In a small saucepan over medium high heat, wishk the honey, pumpkin pie spice, and orange juice together until it simmers. Remove from heat and let it cool for about 5 minutes.

2. In a shaker combine the honey syrup and the whiskey together with ice to chill, not too long we don't want the whiskey to get watered down. If you are using a pitcher, drain the mixture and refrigerate pitcher until ready to serve.

3. Before serving glass, top with champagne or sparkling wine.

Happy Monday Everyone!
